Qualification Doctoral students in their second semester or beyond If replacing the language exam with an official language proficiency test score, submit the “Language Exam Substitution Approval Form” for Korean and the original score report.
(Only valid within the official score report’s validity period.)
Exam Application Period Applications are received at the beginning of every semester in March and September
Examination Subjects English (for Korean nationals) /Korean (for international students)
Required Documents Submit the completed application form with one photo attached
How to Apply GSAIM Academic Affairs Office (Room 506, Building 301) in person, or via email
- Language Test Substitution / Official Certification(A grade will accept if that is more than a standard score.)

Qualification A minimum of 18 credits including those earned by the 3rd semester of the graduate program
(For students in the combined Bachelor’s-Master’s program, at least 18 credits including those earned by the 2nd semester)
If the required 18 credits are not fulfilled due to a leave of absence (credit forfeiture) or receiving an F grade, the exam results may be invalidated.
Exam Application Period Applications are received at the beginning of every semester in March and September
Examination Subjects 1 subject (Check specific subjects by major) Please refer to the official notice for details on the examination format and schedule by sub-major.
